In 2007 the Mondul Coff ee Estates were acquired by a group of shareholders. Since then, the
company’s policy has been to embrace traditional methods whilst adopting modern practices.
To achieve a sustainable and productive farm, new machines were acquired, the factories were
rebuilt and the houses for our staff and their families were renovated. The Mondul Coff ee Estates
are situated on the slopes of Mount Monduli. This unique location provides the perfect
conditions for the cultivation of the highest quality Arabica beans.

Coffee production in Tanzania is a significant aspect of its economy as it is Tanzania’s largest export crop. Tanzanian coffee production averages between 30-40,000 metric tons annually of which approximately 70% is Arabica and 30% is Robusta.
