On all three Estates they produce shade-grown, fine washed sundried Arabica Coffee.
Burka Estates is located on the slopes of Mount Meru.
Burka Coffee Estates Ltd. is one of the largest coffee estates in Tanzania.
Burka employs over 200 permanent employees and 300 task-specific employees.
During the harvest season, the employment rate reaches 1000 to 2000 people depending on the size of the crop.
Burka Coffee Estates Ltd. runs and operates two independent wet mills, giving them full control of the coffee processing.
