The rugali washing station is located on an altitude of 1550 – 1800 m.a.s.l. in Nymasheke, in the western providence of Rwanda.
It was founded in 2016, it became now, 4 years later, one of the biggest washing stations in this region.

Round about 1150 smallholder farmers are working together nowadays with the rugali washing station, under the Managing director Balthazar Ndikubwimana.

The annual production is aprox. 500 tons of cherries.

Coffees from Rwanda

Often compared to Kenyan coffee, Rwandan coffee at its best is creamy-bodied, with sweet citrus acidity reminiscent of Kenya. The best offer caramel and floral notes on the finish, adding a pleasing layer of complexity.
