The Bagua Grande Cooperative, in the Amazonas region, is a group of over 500 small farmers. Their goal is to commercialize their coffee directly to importers, allowing for more profit
to be used for investment in the farms and amongst the communities. It offers special credits for farmers and technical assistance.
The Kuelap coffee, “the coffee of the clouds”, is 100% Arabica grown on volcanic soil, with high level of organic material.
The many microclimates and the protection given by native species of trees that provide natural shade, support the biodiversity of flora and wild fauna of the area of the Kuelap
coffee plantations. We therefor guarantee to our buyers and consumers a high quality coffee, gentle to the enviroment and fair to the farmers.
