In 2005, the owner Nicolas Antonio Blandino Herrera inherited the farm from his parents.
He has been operating the farm in compliance with the needs of the ecosystem. The
area where the farm is located is called Pinabete, which is the name of the mountains
surrounding the farm. Acceding the farm during the rainy season is very difficult as no
decent roads connecting the farm exist. The micro-climate at the farm is excellent for
coffee plantation and results in a good and clean cup. The farm has a total area of 2 Manzanas
(1 Manzana is aprox. 1.74 acres) on which they grow Java, Parainema and Catuai
Rojo below shade provided by Pine trees, Orange and Guava trees.
