In 2018 the owner Danny Joel Pastrana Gomez inherited the farm from his parents. This farm has 50 manzanas of Natural Forest where we can find many birds, monkeys, deer and other animals living in complete freedom. The cultivation of the coffee is in complete harmony with and respecting the regional flora and fauna. The farm has a total area of 60 Manzanas (1 Manzana is aprox. 1.74 acres. On 10 Manzanas they grow Caturra, Java, Geisha, Ovata, Maragogype, Marsellesa below shade provided by Pine trees, Orange, Banana, and Guava trees.
In 2022, La Libertad has participated for the first time in the Nicaraguan Cup of Excellence competition and won the 14th place.
