The owner Isacio Javier Albir Vilchez bought the Finca El Ciprés in 2010.
He is a third generation family producer, economist, father of 3 children, and is passionate about the world of coffee and conserving the environment.
Initially the farm was used as pastures for cattle, little by little the areas for coffee cultivation and forest area were defined.
In 2016 Isacio planted 2500 Pine trees as a goal to reforest the area.
The farm has a total area of 30 Manzanas (1 Manzana is aprox. 1.74 acres), and employs 15 permanent workers.
On round about 25 Manzanas and an altitude of 1160-1400 m.a.s.l. they grow Marcellesa, Catuai, Java, Maracaturra, Geisha, and Ovata below shade provided by Bucaro (a native citrus tree), Banana, and Guava trees.
