This coffee comes from several small farms from the slopes of Mount Kenya. As a blend of the best peaberrys, the coffees are sold at an auction in Narobi. Josra, our partner in Kenya placed a buying order on this lot which comes from the main crop. There are two harvesting seasons in Kenya, the main harvest takes place between October and January; the second is between June and September.

The first plants came from Ethiopia in the 19th century, but it was not until the beginning of the 20th century that french missionaries introduced the valuable Bourbon plants.
