Haileslassie Ambaye
In the southern part of Ethiopia, at a height of over 1500m, a special coffee grows under the shade of the mountain trees. Just like all Ethiopian coffees, the Yirgacheffe coffee is a regional type and trademarked by the country itself. It is named after the most southern province of Ehiopia.
The Haileslassie Ambaye was founded in 1992 and started with local business . After years gathering experiences they began in 2005 to export the coffee . The company’s aim is to become one of the top coffee suppliers in Ethiopia.
To reach this aim they have their own warehouses, plantations and a processing plant , as well as their own trucks (to minimize damages).
Haileslassie has 35 permanent employees and during the harvest season more 300.
