This natural processed coffee comes from Kebele (district & smallest administrative unit in ethiopia) Aricha, located in the Yirgacheffe region. Aricha has long been famous for its naturally processed coffees. As many coffees from Ethiopia, it’s a slightly floral and juicy coffee. As coffee is the primary industry in Ethiopia, It’s the major source of income for many of smallholder farmers in the region. The coffee grows at an altitude of aprox. 1950 – 2300 masl and the harvest season runs from October-January. This outstanding coffee is processsed at the Aricha coffee mill owned by Mr. Bernhanu, who established it in 2012. He works together with round about 1700 farmers from the surrounding areas.
