Finca el Cerro is the heritage of 5 generations of
Salvadorean coffee producers, coffee growing has been
in their family for over 150 years. Located in the Apaneca
llamatepec mountain range, the farm is at ideal altitude
for producing specialty coffee (1400-1500m). In 2016 they
decided to process their own coffee, they own a small
eco-friendly coffee mill where they can do their own
wet milling. At Finca El Cerro coffee is passion, not only
growing it, but processing it, cupping and brewing it. this
coffee undergoes a dry fermentation process in which the
cherries are being dried in a tank in the shade for the first
48hours before being placed in the sun for further drying.
