Huila is framed by the Central and Eastern ranges of the Andes and greatly benefits from the nitrogen-rich volcanic soil. Most of the Region is sitting in the Magdalena Valley which provides great variation in climate. Most of these farms in Huila are between 1200 and 1800 m.a.s.l.

The CO₂ decaffeination process is a highly efficient and natural method for removing caffeine from coffee while preserving its rich flavor and aroma. By using pressurized carbon dioxide, this process selectively extracts caffeine from coffee beans without affecting their quality.
