Ronaldo Reis Madeira has always worked with coffee cultivation along with his father and brothers. His wife, Fernanda Aparecida, inherited a property of 10 hectares, which was combined with what the couple had before.
With effort and hard work, they managed to acquire another 8 hectares, which are shared with Bruno Ronan, his cousin, who shares the job with him and his father. They are responsible for all the procedures at the small farms belonging to the family, from the nutrition of the plants to post-harvesting. The producer is really pleased with the results of this history and with everything he has built due to coffee culture. Ronaldo participates in courses and lectures about specialty coffees and is constantly seeking to apply improvements to his farm.
The contest “Cup of Excellence 2018” came as a clear result of Mr. Ronaldo’s work and his family’s with the support of Cooxupé and SMC, his coffee was enrolled into the competition and won a certificate of finalist in the Natural category. His coffee scored more than 88 points and conquered the 20th place in the list of the best specialty coffees in Brazil.
The recognition of his work came through Especialíssimo program in 2017, and since then he’s been committed to high quality. All the coffees are carefully picked and taken to a clean concrete patio to go through drying process, being processed as naturals. The lots go to the mechanical dryer to reach the ideal humidity level.

São Paulo: the state with the third largest coffee production. Only produces Arabica; Main export port: Santos in the state of São Paulo.
