Edison Ferreira Cardoso started early in the coffee
business. He was working for a large farm in Nova
Resende, South de Minas. José, His father, had already
tried to start a coffee production on the family property,
but without success. after Edison became more
and more interested in coffee farming, he convinced
his father to give coffee a second chance. Nowadays,
Edison, his wife Kerli re managing the farm together
with their children, Edison Junior and Maria Eduarda.
The harvest is divided between manual and mechanized,
since the relief of the property allows the use of
harvesting machines. During the harvest, Edison hires
people from the region to help him, but the rest of the
year, only the family is responsible for taking care of
the farm management.

São Paulo: the state with the third largest coffee production. Only produces Arabica; Main export port: Santos in the state of São Paulo.

Parana: one of the states with the lowest production (approx. 2%)
