Coffee is intrinsic to Weber and his family’s story. The photos from the analog camera he keeps on their album
show the love of coffee growing being passed down from father to sons.

It was in the early 90s that Sebastião, Weber’s father, acquired a small farm, where everyone worked hard to
ensure that the crops were planted and the trees bore good fruits.
In 1997, Weber married Edivana and by 1999, the couple bought their own piece of land: Sítio Santa Terezinha.
They continued working in family farming, and Weber kept working both on his own property and on farms in the
region, helping with other producers’ harvest.

In 2017, the farmer became a Cooxupé member and started to get more interested in specialty coffees. With the support
of the cooperative and SMC’s technical development, Weber improved his work with each harvest.
In 2022, his coffee was identified by Especialíssimo, SMC and Cooxupé’s specialty coffee program.They repeated the success in 2023,
in both the program and a regional competition in Poços de Caldas, a city near Botelhos. Weber won 1st place in the Natural
Process coffees category. His specialty coffee also earned the 4th place at the 2023 Especialíssimo Award.

Sítio Santa Terezinha’s plantation is located at an altitude above the average for the south of Minas Gerais,
in an area known as the Volcanic Region, where the soil is rich and the temperature is milder, creating a favorable microclimate.

São Paulo: the state with the third largest coffee production. Only produces Arabica; Main export port: Santos in the state of São Paulo.

Parana: one of the states with the lowest production (approx. 2%)
