Since 1942 the muniz family produces coffee at the farm
Fazenda das Almas. the fazenda is located in Cape Verde,
in the mountains of southern Minas Gerais. a region
with a very favorable microclimate for the development
and quality of Arabica coffee, and where the topography
does not allow mechanized treatment. The
Coffee grows at an altitude of aprox. 950 to 1050 m.a.s.l.
The harvest is done manually and daily. the cherries are
separated by degree of ripeness, cherry, raisin, dry or
green, and then undergoing drying, and Further processing.
Fazendas das almas produce washed and natural
coffees with a great balance between sweetness, body
and a desirable acidity that is very characteristic for
this farm.
