Sebastião Curimbaba is a born entrepreneur. Since a very young age,
he accompanied his father, Benedito Curimbaba in the family business.
Together they created the Curimbaba Group
and acquired Fazenda Chapadão to invest
in coffee farming, a strong and traditional activity in Brazil.
Fazenda Chapadão has stood out for producing
excellent and sustainable coffees and
has been managed by Carlos Emídio
and José Osvaldo, working on behalf
of Sebastião, who’s now in his old age.
With investment in infrastructure and
professional qualification of the whole team,
the farm started to focus on processes
that would improve the quality of their
production, having an incredible result
over the last years.
The location of Chapadão Farm stands out
greatly in relation to its suitability
for coffee growing, especially when it
comes to coffee quality.
Since the beginning of the Especialíssimo
program, in 2016, the property has produced
with great consistency specialty coffees of
excellent quality.
The name “Chapadão” alludes to the area
where the farm is located – a plateau at
a high altitude.
The location favors mechanized harvesting
and good handling, due to the ease of moving
around the land, and post-harvest procedures,
since the patios receive sunlight throughout
the day at a satisfactory temperature.

Espirito Santo: the state with the second largest coffee production; largest Robusta production in Brazil; 70% Robusta and 30% Arabica; Main export ports: Vitoria in the state of Espirito Santo, Salvador de Bahia in the state of Bahia.
São Paulo: the state with the third largest coffee production. Only produces Arabica; Main export port: Santos in the state of São Paulo.
Parana: one of the states with the lowest production (approx. 2%)
