The (Coffee) Future Is Female! The “Donas do Café” is a project coffee by SMC in partnership with cooperative Cooxupé, to empower women producers in specialty coffee sector. Women’s performance in coffee has grown exponentially over the last few years, and the demand for coffee produced by them has increased at the same rate. Showing that they can lead their businesses and gain space in the specialty coffee market, the “Donas do Café” initiative aims to bring information and training to the cooperative members and partners of both companies, adding to their professional growth and taking increasingly knowledge about the specialty coffee market. After much planning and a great will to make a difference in the lives of women in the coffee industry, this fantastic project was launched in July 2020. This coffee is available as natural or pulped natural processed.

Minas Gerais: the state with the largest coffee production, divided into Southwest, Central-Western, Southeast. Only produces Arabica. Main export port of Santos in the state of São Paulo.

Espirito Santo: the state with the second largest coffee production; largest Robusta production in Brazil; 70% Robusta and 30% Arabica; Main export ports: Vitoria in the state of Espirito Santo, Salvador de Bahia in the state of Bahia.

São Paulo: the state with the third largest coffee production. Only produces Arabica; Main export port: Santos in the state of São Paulo.

Parana: one of the states with the lowest production (approx. 2%)
