Conditions
1. Shipment options and carriers:
Option 1: You can either collect your coffee yourself on the basis of the FCA Hamburg delivery terms or commission a forwarding agent of your choice to collect it. You will receive a release document from us with all the necessary details (pick-up reference, pick-up address and opening hours of our warehouse Vollers Hamburg GmbH, contact person and their contact details).
Option 2: We organize the transport for you on the basis of the FCA Hamburg delivery terms, i.e. the freight costs for this are listed as a separate item in the invoice for your order.
The freight carrier DB Schenker is used for transport.
2. Shipping costs:
Shipping within Germany:
Shipping costs for domestic orders are calculated based on the actual weight of the order. The maximum load per pallet is restricted to 11 bags, with a maximum weight of 770 kg per pallet. Each order’s total weight determines the final shipping charge.
Special Shipping Conditions for German Islands:
For orders delivered to German islands with the following postal codes, shipping costs will be available on request. These costs will be calculated and invoiced after the order has been placed:
- Postal Codes: 26757, 26571, 26548, 26579, 26465, 26474, 26486, 25946, 25849, 25938, 27498, 18565.
International Shipping:
International shipping charges are also calculated based on the order’s total weight and the distance to the destination. For both domestic and international shipments, each pallet can hold a maximum of 11 bags, with each bag weighing up to 70 kg.
Countries with Shipping on Request:
Shipping costs to Norway, Switzerland, Finland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Sweden are available only on request. These rates will be calculated and invoiced following the order placement.
Self-Pickup Option:
Customers have the option of selecting “FCA Self-Pickup on Pallet” to arrange for their own collection of goods directly from our facility.
3. Processing time:
Orders placed by 11:00h on a working day will be ready for collection from our warehouse on the next working day.
4. Delivery times:
The standard transit time for national (domestic) shipments that we order is max. 48h from the time of loading at our warehouse. For international shipments, the transit time varies between 2 and 6 working days.
5. International shipping:
We deliver to all EU member states. The coffee is always EU duty paid. German VAT will be charged if no valid VAT No. has been specified or is available.
6. Packaging:
Most of our coffees are stored in jute bags (usually also in GrainPro), polypropylene bags, but also in paper bags.
Coffee rarities are usually stored in barrels or even smaller containers such as cartons or vacpacks.
The coffee can either be collected as loose bagged goods or packed on pallet(s).
The pallets are always wrapped and double-banded.
7. Minimum order quantity:
We do not have a minimum order quantity. However, we only sell our coffees in its original packing unit (10-70 kg, depending on origin/rarity).
8. Order changes:
Whether you can still change your order depends on the status of the order. If the goods have already been packed and are ready for collection, we are unfortunately unable to change your order.
9. Payment options:
You can pay for your order conveniently by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card. For existing customers, individually agreed payment terms may apply.
10. Complaints:
Important: Please always check whether you have received the correct goods. If this is not the case, please refuse to accept the goods.
If the goods do arrive damaged, please proceed as follows:
- ask the driver to confirm the damage
- take photos of the damage
- contact us via email or phone
- to simplify processing, please have your order number or invoice number ready.
If you have organized the transport yourself, please contact the shipping company.
