Trader & Coffee Education
Maxwell Martinelli
About me
I began my coffee career in 2012 as a barista on the California Central Coast, where my passion for coffee blossomed. After several rewarding years behind the bar, I sought to deepen my knowledge and completed the SCA Coffee Taster Certification at Boot Coffee Campus in 2017. This experience led me to work with independent roasteries, where I gained hands-on expertise as a production roaster, green buyer, and café manager. In 2022, I relocated to Berlin to broaden my coffee network and gain insights into the industry from the capsule perspective. My diverse experiences have enriched my understanding of the coffee industry and the many people across the value chain that make it happen.

Quality Control
Tim Degener
About me
Working in quality management at Rehm means being hands-on with every coffee that comes through our lab. From daily cuppings to tracking consistency across harvests, I focus on making sure each lot meets our standards and reflects the work put in at origin. It’s about transparency, reliability, and showcasing what makes each coffee unique.
Before joining Rehm, I spent eight years in cafés and roasteries while studying political science with a focus on development policy. That mix of practical experience and global insight naturally led me into green coffee — and into a role where I get to combine sensory work with meaningful impact.

Logistics
Angelika Neumann
About me
After completing my education as an office administrator in 2002, I immediately dedicated myself to the world of logistics, where I perfectly made use of my knowledge of the Russian language. After 16 years, I discovered the world of coffee by coincidence and was immediately drawn into it. That’s how I finally became a part of the global company Rehm & Co.
Although I had gained a lot of experience in my previous job, first of all I had to get to know the subject of „coffee“. Fortunately, it didn’t take long 🙂 These days, I can proudly say that I am completely familiar with coffee. Knowing that our team supplies the whole world with exquisite coffee makes me proud and happy at the same time. #Love.Peace.Coffee is not just a slogan, it is a motto that I now follow.

Angelika Voss
About me
After I finished my apprenticeship as a freight forwarder in 2010, I was able to gain initial experience in the forwarding and logistics industry. In 2014 I was looking for a new challenge in the industrial sector to apply my previously acquired knowledge and skills; and so my coffee journey began : ) As challenging my work sometimes is, especially due to coffee and freight market developments, it’s always complex and exciting at the same time. I love the “product” itself which I have to move all around the world and I am proud to be a part of this constantly enhancing company, one of the most well-known player in specialty coffee with the best team I’ve ever worked with! #Love.Peace.Coffee
